EXPERIMENTAL ANIMATION: Let your imagination soar in this innovative
multimedia animation class. Explore some of the many methods animators use to
bring images to life onscreen from simple paper & pencil sketches to
Claymation; FLIGHT ADVENTURE:
It’s time to let your imagination soar! Put on your woodworking safety glasses
& pick up your sand paper as we start by building a double winged Biplane.
Learn its history & concept behind why 2 wings were in this unusual design;
MAGIC ACADEMY: Harry Potter
inspired illusions, Jr. Magician’s journey through fact & fancy, learning
& imagination in this class; LEGO-part
of the STAR S.T.E.A.M. project: Builders & Brainiacs: Students
build & invent structures, machines, mechanisms, sculptures or perhaps a
strategy game AND Roving Robotics: Interested in competing in the 1st LEGO©
League? Take the 1st step as you build your own robots & make‘em move,
shake, rattle, talk & more! Your STAR robotics specialist will help you
construct complex machines like a motorized “Robogator”; STOMPIN’ TIME (dance): Based on the musical STOMP– Learn
body percussion & rhythm through dance, stepping, snapping & clapping; BOARDERZ: Create & skate-Don’t
want to choose between learning better boarding skills & making your own
board…here you can do both! Your
child(ren) can join STAR NOVA 1 day a week or 5 days a week. STAR NOVA is bringing innovative and expanded
