Parenting classes will be offered every Tuesday, starting Nov 5th - Dec 17th, 2013 (no class on Nov 26th) from 8:30am – 10:30am at a private home in Mt. Washington (address provided upon registration). Cost is $300.00 per person / $450 per couple. The classes will be facilitated by Rebecca Weiker. In this six session course, you will learn:
- The science of brain development as a guide for parenting,
- How to set and hold limits without losing connection and compassion
- Dealing with anger and other strong emotions.
- What is meant by self-regulation and how to achieve it for all family members.
- Parenting to support social-emotional development and much more!
