THE NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS ART PROGRAM - START SUBMITTING NOW

The National PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts. This year’s theme is “Believe, Dream, Inspire”. Encourage your child(ren) to unleash their artistic talents and submit an original piece, inspired by this year's theme, in any of following arts areas: Dance choreography, Photography, Film Production, Musical Composition, Literature and Visual Arts. To allow student artworks to be recognized and judged with the appropriate developmental age and skill levels in mind, the Reflections Program is organized by school grade, offering 4 for Mt Washington Elementary divisions:

• Primary – Preschool-Grade 2 Intermediate – Grades 3-5
• Middle/Junior – Grades 6-8
• Special Artist – Non-Graded

The MWPTA Reflections Art Contest began Friday, November 1st. Deadline for submissions is Monday, December 2nd. The information and submission packets went out in back packs on Friday to lower grades (K-3). Participation in the Reflections Art contest is homework for the 2nd grade. Grades 4-6 will receive submission forms on Monday.
