OUR GARDEN IS GROWING!

The Edible School Garden is in full swing with seeds being sown, garden themes in development, and our most recent upgrade, installation of our new drip irrigation system. With the new system in place garden volunteers will spend less time watering gardens and use less water in the process. Kudos and congratulations to the garden committee and our friends and neighbors who support the garden by subscribing to the eroots produce boxes each week.

Interested in a similar system for your home garden? Please contact Garden Chair Nina Zippay and she will happily refer you to the Master Gardener who is doing the installation for our school garden.

Donations Needed: the garden committee is collecting children’s books about gardening and growing things. If you have a children’s book that you recommend or would like to donate please contact Garden Committee Chair Nina Zippay at nzippay@gmail.com
