We were all saddened to find out that our crossing guard, Mr. Alex Liu, passed away last Wednesday. He leaves behind his wife and teenage daughter. As he was the main provider for his family, the PTA is taking up a collection to help his family cover the cost for his services. If you would like to make a donation, we will have a memorial fund box set up in the parent center all week this week, please stop by and extend a helping hand if you can.
We will miss his friendly smiles and waves as we come and go to school, and would like to extend our condolences to his family. We take comfort in knowing that he got a chance to spend some time with his family, after his collapse at school, due to the life saving efforts of several of our parents.
